About Us
My name is Bridgette Anderson and I have been scrapbooking for over 13 years and teaching classes for 12 years. I am a distributor for Memory-Works, a member of the International Scrapbookers Association and a member of the S.C.R.A.P. Guild of Northern Illinois. I have a large Scrap-N-Stamp room in my basement which I hold monthly crops. Please see my calendar for upcoming events and contact me to reserve your spot. I also make and sell pre-made pages and paper crafts.
Carol Barkhurst is our quilting and kneedle crafting instructor. She has been sewing ever since she can remember, making doll clothes from scraps that her mother gave her. During Junior and Senior High School, she made most of her clothes, including prom dresses and coats. About 20 years ago, Carol decided to take a quilting class. About halfway through the 12 month class, the store closed. A group of the ladies decided to continue with the quilt to finish the 12 squares of the seasonal quilt. Carol figured out the squares and taught these ladies the remainder of the quilt. Carol continued teaching quilting to a group for two more years, including the Midnight Star, Roman Nine Patch and a Mystery Quilt. Carol moved to DeKalb in 2005 and started making children's quilts and nap mats to sell at craft shows. She is currently making and selling purses. Carol also enjoys, cross stitching, counted cross stitching, chrocheting and knitting. She would love to share these passions with others.
